Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of GST India, operated by Ottosoft ("GST India", "we", "us", or "our"). By registering for or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.

GST India provides cloud-based software for GST billing and invoicing, accounting, GST compliance and filing support, e-invoicing and e-way bill readiness, inventory management, AI/OCR-assisted data entry, and related enterprise features. Features may vary by plan and are subject to change as the product evolves.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account, including actions by users you invite.

Notify us immediately at info@ottosoft.in if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis as selected at checkout, in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at the time of purchase.

We may change plan pricing or features with reasonable prior notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation, including GST and tax laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except as permitted by law.
• Upload malicious code or interfere with the normal operation of the Service.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent.

You retain ownership of the business data, documents, and content you upload or generate using the Service ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your Customer Data, including for GST filing and compliance purposes.

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Ottosoft and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted to use the Service, no other rights are transferred to you.

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, government GST portals, WhatsApp). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that GST filings or reports will be accepted by any government authority without independent review. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ottosoft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

You agree to indemnify and hold Ottosoft harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your Customer Data, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

You may stop using the Service or cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or where required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease, and we may delete your account data after a reasonable retention period, subject to legal requirements.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Patna, Bihar, India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
